Da Search is Over!

Da search is over! There must be a god! Okay I found this site about a guy that has had CO2 laser on his d*&k. I am reading all the info on the site now. Even though I said I was never going to let a laser near my d**k, after seeing the info and pictures on his site I have changed my mind. This is the only option out there guys so lets all just get it done!

Now I gotta find a doctor to do the procedure.

Things are lookin up

Later guys!

Hi Tyrone,
I just wanted to let you and your readers know my story.

I have had PPP since I was about 16 or 17. I am now 33. They have always been annoying. Girls think they are genital warts and everytime you have a new girlfriend you find yourself having to explain. It's just awkward and horrible. I have always hated them and the normal doctors or STD clinics say that there is nothing they can do, its just perfectly "normal".

Then I found this website: http://www.nomorepapules.com/ . What a relief to find other people that have the same problem. I also read the page on wikipedia http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pearly_penile_papules . In the end I sent an email to every dermatologost I could find in London. I had a very poor response, but in the end I am ecstatic to report I found a dermatologist that could help, and I now have got rid of the papules.

Dr Berkowitz from Wimpole Aesthetics http://www.wimpoleaesthetics.co.uk/ responded to my email, and asked me to come in for a free consultation, which I did. The meeting went very well. He is a warm friendly gentleman, with a professional company in the heart of London. He completely emphasised with my problem. He repeated what I had already been told, that the papules presented no health problems, but that he could help if I wanted. The CO2 laser method as you have mentioned was available if I wanted. However he recommended that an easier process would be cauterization http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cauterization . I agreed to it and a couple of days later I was back in for the appointment.

Dr Berkowitz had given me some anesthetic cream to apply to the papules prior to the appointment. By the time I arrived the tip of my penis was completely numb. The process of cauterization took about 15 mins, and that was it. All those years of varied emotions and awkward situations gone in 15 mins. I couldn't believe it. I was so happy, I almost skipped down the street on my way home. The charge was £250 and worth every penny.

My penis looked a bit weird for a little while, but soon healed with no problems. A repeat visit to Dr Berkowitz a couple of weeks later for a checkup showed that everything was OK. I remain overjoyed with the whole process and would happily recommend Dr Berkowitz and Wimpole Aesthetics to other readers of your website.
All the best,
Justin

Hi,
I think I also have PPP, although I haven't had it officially diagnosed.

I have been reading a fair few sites about them, and all of them claim they are normal, and that they are glands that excrete oils and other chemicals to keep the skin soft.

It has also been noted on at least one site that people who have been 'cut' arent as likely to have them as the area has dried out and therefore no longer perform there job.

This makes me think that it may be better to leave them intact even though they are unsightly, and may require explaining to some girls.

Did you go through with the procedure? if so, have you experienced any negative side effects such as drying or discomfort?

I would be interested to find out what you ended up doing.

Regards,
Anon

Specifically it is Crest Vivid White Fluoride Toothpaste(invigorating mint). so far the ppp is going away good and the papules peel a little. so far i peeled one off and it hasn't came back. so i reccomend trying this i will update you guys if it goes away and stays away.

Unlike women, men do not readily discuss personal medical conditions and disorders with their friends. It is for this reason that pearly penile papules are very misunderstood.

It is not surprising that you would be plagued by worry and paranoia at the appearance of a bump on the rim of your penis. Immediately you would suspect venereal disease or even worse, cancer. The likelihood is that you do not have either, but rather a simple case of pearly penile papules. pearly penile papules are very common among men, especially uncircumcised men. They are not as a result of bad hygiene and are not contagious in any way whatsoever. Many men actually find that they appear and disappear without any treatment at all.

However, if you are feeling uncomfortable with them, they can be effectively removed with a simple treatment of radiofrequency surgery. You should however consult your doctor and have them seen to should they emit a discharge or are physically painful.

I cured myself with matchsticks!

Ok I learned that supposedly the only way to get rid of the little suckas was with a co2 laser, because wart creams and freezing do not work. HEAT is the answer my friends, I got my heat source from simple and cheap matches or matchsticks.

I lit up a match, let it burn for about 5 seconds then blow it out, it has enough heat in it trust me, put it close to the tips of the PPP and they turn really white, it does hurt a little bit but not much, dont touch your little fella with the match heads that could hurt, just the tips of the PPP.

Some fell off the next day, and most fell off the second day, its now my third day and I have about 5 to fall off.

Just take your time and be careful, it does work.

I just wish I took photos first but wasn't sure it would work this damn good :)
